Jordan Playfair is a guitarist, lyricist, and composer, who draws inspiration from folk, metal and blues. His current practice is defined by a commitment to exploring the textural possibilities of guitar within the structure of song.
2024 saw Jordan put out his debut, "Something Inside So Wrong" on Danish label 15 love. The album features selected works written between 2013 and 2024, curated from a vast archive of tracks in the realm of guitar/electronic/vocal expressions. Recorded mainly with a USB microphone into a laptop in various places to call home, SISW is a nod to bedroom production.
After signing with AD 93 in 2024, Jordan is touring extensively, having already performed on bills with ML Buch, spresso, Mark William Lewis, Loup, Relax Kevin, and Tiberius B.
