Fazerdaze's resurgence since then continued with the release of the synth-laden alt-rock track ‘Bigger’ in September 2023, extensive touring across Australia, the UK, Europe, North America and festival appearances in South East Asia.
Fazerdaze explores the complexities of womanhood on her transformational sophomore album, Soft Power released worldwide on November 15, 2024. This launched a new season of success for Fazerdaze, including being selected as a Spotify RADAR artist and having a billboard in New York Times Square. Soft Power was selected as Rolling Stone Australia’s #1 Best New Zealand Album of 2024. At the 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards, Fazerdaze took home the Tui for Solo Artist of the Year and Best Album for Soft Power.
Across 11 self-dubbed “bedroom stadium” tracks, Amelia melds dreamy synths and electronic beats with rock elements, creating a sound that balances gritty authenticity and refined pop brilliance. Soft Power was produced and recorded by Amelia herself (with additional engineering from Emily Wheatcroft-Snape) and explores themes of devotion, fierce self-compassion, and matured self-awareness.
Soft Power follows Fazerdaze's 2017 cult classic debut Morningside and 2022 Break! EP, which were praised by outlets including Pitchfork, MOJO, The Guardian, and more.
Fazerdaze kicked off 2025 supporting Finneas on five dates across Australasia. In March Fazerdaze headlined the iconic Tāmaki Makaurau venue, Powerstation, and returned to North America later in the year for a tour with Pixies and Spoon, alongside headline shows.
