Daniel J. Thibaut is a classically-trained Belgian composer, producer and conductor. Daniel’s compositions sit at the intersection where space, sound and the visual experience meet.
Daniel composes music for film, develops sonic installations and directs music for special events.
With strong roots in minimalist & avant-garde music, Daniel’s work aims to explore the interrelations between sound and movement and their influence on the cognitiveperceptions of time and space.
With the idea to alter the traditional sonic experience by placing the listener at the heart of his work, Daniel’s research seeks to generate a new range of musical emotions.
Daniel is often consulted for his singular approach to heighten the music experience by merging the art of composition with psychoacoustic principles; whilst keeping a divergent and poetic approach.
